No, but you are for the ones you send. Malky apparently sent a racist text which he is guilty of, if proven true. So the question isn't relevant.

How many threads do you need to try and justify the texts?

Rewriting in a different context trying to get the answer you want.

So do you report your friends if they send you a text which to others may look offensive ?

Are they responsible obviously not because they didn't write them but in the case of MM he had an absolute responsibility within the role as Manager of Cardiff City FC to ensure that a policy of "Zero Tolerance" was enforced on any employee under his direct control who was behaving inappropriately in respect of racist, sexist and homophobic discrimination.

There is no doubt that he did nothing to enforce club policies and it's that which he will be held accountable for, as well as the text messages which he did write.

So is that the same responsibility which Tan should have over financial affairs within the club ?

As well as text issue the club are also claiming fraudulent activity so surely as owner 'if' this was proven to be true then Tan should also take some responsibility

Different things Adam because IF there has been any dishonesty here, and I'm saying IF, then Cardiff City FC and it's owner VT will very much be the victims of that dishonesty. How any reasonable person could argue that a victim is in someway responsible for any crime committed against them beggars belief.

I agree it's all 'ifs and buts' but 'if' proven Tan would be indirectly responsible because it's surrounding financial affairs with his business. Would be a classic case of corporate financial mismanagement
