David Marshall and Ben Turner will both be out of this fixture but Federico Macheda should be fit to play.

' WOLFSBURG '

Wolfsburg forward Ivan Perisic has a broken shoulder and will need surgery that will put him on the long-term injured list with Patrick Ochs and Christian Traesch.

Ochs is out with a knee injury, and Traesch also has a shoulder injury.

Perisic scored 10 times for Wolfsburg last season.

Wolfsburg managing director Klaus Allofs says the injuries are unfortunate, "but we have a deep squad."

Wolfsburg will play in the Europa League this season.

Not sure Cala will start as he's suspended for the first game & Ole may use this match as a precursor for the Blackburn match.
Saying that, with the Tinkerman, you never know!

I think playing everyone in this game would be a mistake by ole. He needs to pick his best 11 and give them as much game time as he can to get them as match fit and sharp as possible ready for a weeks time against Blackburn.

Just seeing on his twitter that he has been given the No10 shirt, so sounds like he could well be first choice?!? :bluescarf:

I'd guess so too.
However, if Macheda or Guerra were our 1st choice strikers and one picked number 9 and the other wanted a different number to 10 then Le Fondre could of been left with the number 10 shirt anyway? It is obvious that FM, ALF & JG are our 3 best strikers. Perhaps Guerra picked number 9 as 1st choice, Macheda picked 27 as 2nd choice and Le Fondre picked number 10 as 3rd choice? We can't really judge anything on kit numbers to be fair.

I'm sure that Macheda wanted the number 27 at Man Utd (not that 9 or 10 were an option for him anyway) - Don't quote me on this but I think he was number 27 at Birmingham too... If he wants 27 at Cardiff then possibly Guerra will pick up the number 9 like he was at Valladolid...

Not trying to "show" anyone.

Out of principle, I just don't want to sit in a red seat at the CCS. Just like when I chose not to take a free red scarf back in February 2013. :thumbright:

I won't think any less of them, it's just my personal preference not to sit in a red seat. However, I do feel differently about people who wear any of the red shirts.

Fair enough, just thought you had an agenda with people who sit in them because some people haven't had a choice with this game coming up and training session just gone.
