Going from the top flight to the Championship necessitates a degree of change for any club.

Cardiff City has been no different this summer, seeing a fair turnover of playing staff and changes in the boardroom.

Top stars, as was widely expected, have left while the Bluebirds moved early for the men they want to fire their bid for an immediate Premier League return.

Fans are still waiting to see a centre-back come in and, while there are a couple of names to have been linked, movement on any deal seems to have reached an impasse.

Gary Medel is also expected to reach the exit door at some point in the next couple of weeks following his impressive displays at the World Cup.

All the comings and goings, and potential remaining moves in and out, are recapped in the gallery above.

Meanwhile we have also highlighted the changes with our predicted line-up for the opening game of the season with Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park, compared to the team that took the field on the last day of the season versus Chelsea (below).
