I'm sure they looking at the state of Blackpool team and think I want to like that. They've sold lambert, lovren, lallana, chambers and are now on the verge of selling schneiderlin and rodriguez to spurs. Not only that they have yet to sign anyone!

They signed a winger and a striker ages ago to replace Lambert and Lallana :ayatollah:

They've signed players BUT if I'm honest I can't see them getting players which compare with the talents they've lost.... they are sure to be fighting relegation this year....

Bet the board and manager are pissing themselves at the money they are racking in for above average players.

They will cope.

Agreed, Porto & Atletico Madrid seem to recover every year from selling top stars only to replace them with brighter stars at a smaller fee. Southampton may be trying to copy this business model and can as long as they can replace players like the fore- mentioned clubs do

They certainly won't go down. I can see them being similar to Tottenham last season where they waste a large portion of the money they get but they still sign one or two class players to keep them fighting on. Mid-table at best I reckon. They over-achieved last season big time. Even if they kept those players they wouldn't have repeated that finish.

Spot on, a lot of silly people don't notice the other side of the bargain that Southampton are getting huge positives, if they stay up then they will be laughing even more with the more millions they gain from TV, staying up, sponsors etc.
