Excluding Kenwynne

Fri Jul 25, 2014 1:46 pm

Who would you consider to be the laziest footballer you've seen? For me, the words lazy and Nathan Blake go together like bread and butter. I found him entertaining to watch, and there was no doubt that he was extremely talented. It just seemed as if the word effort wasn't in his vocabulary. I've seen players come off the pitch soaked in sweat, but only seen Blake come off soaking when there's been a heavy downpour.

That's one way to put it!
But I think the guy has got a lot of natural talent. He just seems uninterested & not willing to work at it.

After Jay got capped by England u think he knew he had done enough then for a move to the Prem so did seem to take his foot off the gas after that.

I think strikers often get mislabelled as lazy. Some players sometimes purposefully look disinterested and drift in order to effectively find space. Lineker used to it. Henry used to do. Both to great effect. Problem is if you're not scoring goals fans will hate you for it.

Kenwynne Jones could rip this division apart (if he works hard)

As you may have guessed I'm not his biggest fan, but I imagine he could be a real handful for defenders at championship level. If Ole can get him to work, he could score a lot of goals at this level.
