Medel's value may have dropped in the second half of the season, but his WC performance must warrant more than a derisory £1m down and the rest on tick!!!!
Gala all the way for me. If Inter come in after that, up to them. They don't hold the cards.
Just sit tight and wait for them to improve their offer.

Inter obviously have the money but they see it as a risky signing hence wanting the loan, I don’t blame them . but from our point of view 1m upfront isn’t ideal but as long as the rest is to follow but if its linked to appearances and getting in the champions league then it is a disaster, they have to guarantee the rest is coming. If we can at the end get around 5-6m even if it does take a couple of seasons I think it’s about right.
I don’t blame Tan or whoever is in charge of negotiations now, we are obviously digging our heels in but Inter are playing Hard Ball.
The blame is solely on the stupid price we paid for him, depending on your opinion that could be Moody, Malky, Lim, Tan etc.
