JAILED FOR SMASHING UP LEEDS PUB

Wednesday 23rd July 2014.

Four Sheffield United football hooligans have been jailed for an attack on a Leeds pub.

Punters were punched and kicked, chairs thrown and windows broken, with an estimated £3,000 of damage caused.

Violence occurred in Spencers pub in Leeds after a group of Sheffield Utd fans, including some members of the ‘Blades Business Group’, called in on their way back home from a game against Carlisle.

Judge Christopher Batty said they had specifically targeted the pub because it was known as being used by Leeds fans.

The group had hired a coach to take them to the game and either told or persuaded the driver to use a little known route to Carlisle to bypass the police reception there, which would have escorted those on organised transport to the game.

Judge Batty said there had been few if any Leeds fans in the bar but the group were not deterred from carrying out their attack.

There was chanting of BBC – Blades Business Crew – outside before the attack began with bottles being thrown.

Judge Batty said:

“This was planned and organised large scale public disorder played out in the name of the club you claim to support. I suspect genuine fans would be disgusted at what you did. No doubt you think it clever to be hanging around with these guys but you have seen it isn’t.”

Good, that's what should happen when u go out to act a cock and spoil other peoples football experience. No doubt all because they want to think they are solid cause they been boozing and sniffing on the coach trip no doubt and been watching too much football factory. They should be made an example of, with a longer sentence.

There could have been kids in the pub or as the article states, next to no fans at all in the pub but like a bunch of jokers smashed it up anyway. You don't get this with rugby, and the Burberry football factory society should be stamped out as well. If they wanna go fight meet up in a field with rival fans and punch shit out of each other till they all realise at the end that there wasn't really any point in it. It doesn't make you hard it just makes u a bigger cock if anything cause it spoils peoples days out to the football and only ends up with them getting arrested, fined, or jailed. Makes zero sense. :bluescarf:

Putting it all in perspective, it is a rarity nowadays and not the norm that it once was

Will respond to the PM when I'm home as these tunnels (on the train) are a nightmare. You'd think in our day and age they'd have wifi everywhere.

They are not footballfans, just troublemakers
Glad they were jailed, these boys have no brain

Good enough for them too. Should be longer sentences available to judges. May make one or two think twice in future.
