:bluescarf: :bluescarf: Cardiff City fans snap up one retro 70s alternative BLUE shirt every minute - get yours now :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Wednesday Jun 18th, 2014

By Tim Gordon

After the 1970s style fans Blue shirt won our poll last week, excited Bluebirds fans have been snapping them up in their droves.

Cardiff City fans have been rushing to buy their alternative blue shirts with the retro 70s design proving a huge hit with fans.

At one point, a shirt was being sold every minute, and more than £1,000 had been raised for Ty Hafan before technical problems affected the Kukri site.

The site is back up and running today so fans can secure their shirt in time for the new season and raise cash for a good cause.

Don't miss out.

The shirt is now available to buy at http://www.teamshopbuilder.co.uk/cardif ... rterstrust

Its virtually the same as the one I bought in the 70s :bluescarf:
only thing missing is the UMBRO diamonds down the arms

We had this type of design for 2/3 season`s
season 1 was the one you can buy in the shop people wear
year 2/3 was the Nylon shinny type with collar similar to this one

429 shirts sold by lunchtime today.

Bearing in mind the Kukri site was only live for an hour on Monday, yesterday afternoon only and this morning that's pretty incredible.

Thanks everyone. You are making a magnificent statement.

This is great news, can you just imagine Tan looking out on a sea of blue.Just checked and its given me a mid-August delivery date. Is this correct? If it is I'll order it later as I will be away.

I've been given estimated delivery time of around 4 weeks from order. The 8 week delivery applies to cut and sew garments, CCST's shirt is sublimated with a woven badge, hence it's quicker delivery.

Kukri are working hard to correct order confirmation emails that are currently going out with mid August delivery dates.

You won't get free P&P for overseas orders, unfortunately, email janette.barlow@kukrisports.com to check costs of TransAtlantic delivery

trust badge spoils it completely otherwise nice retro look :bluescarf: think next season will be blue than ever with new antics from fans which will make for great atmospheres - red kit team blue supporters will still look ridiculous and away fans will continue to take the piss ! When will they come to there senses over our traditions ---- money is not everything does help immediately but greed will back fire one day soon ! And fans don't forget what's been going on and by whom remember !
