Craig Bellamy

When he started out at Norwich he was an unbelievable talent. But he was also one massive big head and the story of him being locked in the toilet on the coach by the senior Norwich players made me chuckle. But this kid had it all and the time he was seriously injured by that Wolves player he was then limited in what he could do. When Giggs could not be arsed to play for Wales Bellers always turned up even with his injuries he was there.
When he was rumoured to come to the City myself as well as thousands of other City fans could only dream. We made out the messiah of Welsh football was coming home to his home Town City but the truth was he was a Liverpool fan and he came back to try and save his marriage.
His debut and goal was things of legends, my god did he celebrate and so did we. He said the right things and some how we forgot he supported Liverpool. When he left to go back to Liverpool I was as gutted as the next City Fan. And when we played Liverpool in the Cup final and Bellers came on to that ovation I felt pride thinking he was a City Man. And that photo of him smiling when Ben Turner scored was priceless.
But then he came back and things changed with Bellers after Gary Speeds death he mellowed but then seemed to have a new chip on his shoulders regarding Cardiff City Fans. And it then became evident with our game I think against Norwich when Whitts was subbed. Now where I was there was there was no booing or sarcastic clapping but not saying it didn't happen and my own opinion a lot of the clapping and cheering was for Zaha coming on ( Regret that now as those cheers should of been for Whitts a loyal servant not that tw*t Zaha.) But then when Bellers scored he put his finger to his lips and mouthed f*cking wankers at the crowd.
Sorry Bellers but that was out of order. Then his documented refusal to play against Stoke and flew to Florida with his daughter.
Then on our last game when he scored a deflected goal he intentionally ignored celebrating involving the City Fans, ( did any one else notice that ?) Then his no show on the lap of honour. He has since explained that and I would like to believe that but sorry I can't.
He came here wanting to be the Shearer of Newcastle but it turned sour and he will no longer be remembered as a great for CCFC which is sad. But he now starting a new chapter in management and to be honest I think he will succeed. I do hope one day he will manage Wales but to a lot of Cardiff City Fans he we be remembered for his disrespect. But to others they we remember him fondly. But hey that is the enigma called Craig Bellamy.
