Sun Apr 27, 2014 11:22 pm

Anyone hear that there's a group from Mexico headed by Carlos Slim who are interested in the club..?

This is some info on Carlos Slim: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlos_Slim

One of my customers is a big city fan and he mentioned this to me so don't shoot the messenger

Many investers including Tan himself has interests in more than one club within Europe so why should that be a problem..?

do we have Taco Bells in UK..? could be some truth in it then as they would use a football club to help promote other business interests

surely by buying a club which unfortunately will be back in the Championship is cheaper than one which is in the Premiership. They do say now the easiet way to make money out of football is to buy a club outside the Prem and get it promoted

Far safer gambles around. He could buy the biggest clubs in the country if hes worth that much and get far bigger coverage.

On March 5, 2013, Forbes stated that Slim is still maintaining his first place position as the wealthiest person on the globe, with an estimated net worth of US$73 billion

Agree with you here Adam. Now that would make my day if Tan is well out of pocket and it could easily happen. Tan is well out of his league in football and all hid plans have gone to pot. Let's hope he decides to cut his closed.

I'd be confident we'd have blue restored if he came in. Although I'd prefer we had a European businessman who knows football, someone to get the behind the scenes stuff right
