Where has anyone said Conway couldn't do a job for Newport?!

So was I. Someone discussed Gestede and Conway & I queried it.
I couldn't give a shit how many he is scoring elsewhere, Gestede was garbage for us. Conway however, was excellent.

id take far more notice if he carried on banging them in next season.
A lot of players have good runs, seem to remember alan lee scoring a few just after leaving us.
If gestede goes and scores 12/15 next season then fair play, dont think there could be much argument about his ability at that level then.

He played well but for me Whitts shaded it over Daehli.
Whitts put in a 90 minute performance, hit the post from a delicious free kick, put his penatly away, was positive when he had the ball, always available, and it was his positive play in breaking the midfield line and precision pass that led to that the slightly offside goal we had chalked off.
Daehli put in a couple of eye catchign dribbles and runs and his ball through for Mutch 1st half deserved a better finish but I thought he faded 2nd half. Wether that be through Stoke wiseing up to him, and him not getting enough ball, but he didnt have as much impact 2nd half as the 1st.

I thought Whitts had a very good game Saturday, his best game for a long time. (I do think he plays better when Bellamy isn't around)
I thought there were a few contenders for man of the match though. I thought Daehli was excellent first half and he does remind me of a (not so good) Iniesta.
I thought Fabio had a very good game and though he sometimes gets caught out of position he gives us so much more going forward than any of our other full backs.
Personally though, I though Caulker deserved man of the match. I thought he was excellent Saturday and had his best game for a long time.
I've been trying to think where it went wrong in the last 25 minutes and I think Medel has gotta take a fair share of the responsibility. I think hes a shadow of the player from the first half of the season and we need him to raise his game on Sunday.
Mutch was average but he's been consistently our best player all season (bar marshall) until the last 3 or 4 games so i'll let him off.
I also want to see more from Kim. He's got talent but seems to lack balls.
