We wanted McCormack, McCormack wanted to leave for us. Cellino(the Italian who wants to buy Leeds and has been keeping them affloat) rang in and told him to 'go back to f*cking training'
Probably already know but we were REALLY close on getting Ross back

He is the type of player who would have fit in nicely under Ole just behind the striker.

Should never have sold Ross in the first place.

would take him back no problem.

Decent player but not a premiership striker. We should have pushed the boat out and spent decent money on a striker. Hold on we did Corndog

Crystal Palace have made Leeds United duo Ross McCormack and Matt Smith key summer targets, [football] direct news understands.
The Eagles, one of the form teams in the country after a remarkable turnaround under boss Tony Pulis, are in the process of drawing up plans for the next transfer window and they are anxious to bolster their strikeforce.
A source close to the club told FDN Pulis is a long-term admirer of 6ft 6in targetman Smith, and is keen to partner him with Leeds team-mate McCormack.
Palace are aware of the fact that they will be up against stiff competition to bag McCormack, who has established himself as one of the hottest properties outside the top flight this term.
He has plundered 29 goals for the Championship club since the start of the season, while Smith has weighed in with 11.
Palace hope an offer in the region of £5.5million will be enough to secure the services of both players at the end of the campaign.

Wouldn't rule it out.

I read that Cellino thinks McCormack would be perfect for Serie A.
This wasn't the source but the same thing really,

We should never have signed Chopra that one season. McCormack and Bothroyd would have taken us to the Premier League. Introducing Chopra completely unbalanced us that season.
