No end product, you can see why.moyes had his doubts

Re: Wilfred Zaha

Sat Feb 15, 2014 9:41 pm

Just dosent look interested and his positional awareness is shocking. Thought he was too deep today and narrow instead of hugging touchline and when Taylor had the ball he had to be told to run into the corner. Better as a bench player

Re: Wilfred Zaha

Sat Feb 15, 2014 9:43 pm

Needs more games

Re: Wilfred Zaha

Sat Feb 15, 2014 9:48 pm

He is utter S#*T!!!!!!

Re: Wilfred Zaha

Sat Feb 15, 2014 9:58 pm

As the jacks sung - he's just a shit Nathan Dyer

Some nice touches on the ball but disappears every time there's a 50/50 to be won. I can see why Moyes got rid

Re: Wilfred Zaha

Just no end product unfortunately, be it a shot or cross

Re: Wilfred Zaha

Use you're brains people

He is an extremely talented flair player - he is young though and lacks the experience and also some physicality

Everyone knew this when he played for palace, went to United and came here - he isn't a world beater.. Yet

But you see flashes of brilliance - and one moment of brilliance can change a game

Give him your time, support and patience and I think you will be rewArded

Whenever we played Palace there would always be three or four threads on here asking what the fuss was about when it came to Zaha, yet when we signed him the United plastics were raving about him. Fact of the matter is he is an okay player that makes things happen but like many have said his crossing leaves a lot to be desired.

If some of his flicks and stepovers had led to a goal we all would be raving about him.Give the boy a chance. Some posters on hear calling him a carthorse, love to see a carthorse do to a ball what he can.Needs to learn to pass rather than lazily flick the ball.Think this boy will come good :ayatollah:

Agree, I know we don't have much time, but he will win us a game very soon :ayatollah:

Running out of games but he did a flick in the first half and I just turned to my son ( he,s 10 )and smiled and he said to me that,s what you mean when you say try something different, even if it doesn,t come off. :)

There is no doubt that Zaha has the quality but still needs to learn. He does try to do too much at times but he has the ability to win games. He has pace, he can beat players and in the near future he will click into providing the right service up front.

Re: Wilfred Zaha

The abuse he got when he was at Palace was warranted. He's a decent looking player but gets his own team in trouble too much. You can't go trying those tricks inside your own defensive third.

You also need to know how to cross a ball if you're going to cost £15m

As i said on a previous post he's wank

Re: Wilfred Zaha

He's rusty, way too rusty. Showed that today too, in what was a shocking performance from him in the first half. Didn't help that he had Taylor behind him offering jack shit, but still, no excuse.

Actually just seen the highlights - he looked brilliant! Obviously they didn't show the whole game and I wasn't there but he was involved in almost all of our chances

Re: Wilfred Zaha

I thought he played pretty well, his end product was poor but him and daehli (who I thought was brilliant) linked up very well, the result was bad but we played some good football

His crosses were fine just no-one even gambled on any crosses at all.

I think it's time I left this board!

Re: Wilfred Zaha

When Zaha put in a first time cross in the first half, Campbell missed an easy header. Zaha over complicates it so much. He has the pace to knock the ball past a player and beat him, he doesn't need to rely on his tricks all the time. Sometimes, Zaha is so concerned doing a trick to beat a player that by the time he releases the ball, their defenders have already got back into position. Zaha released it quickly against Norwich to set up Bellamy's goal, he needs to get back to doing this as it catches the opposition out more.

Easily our most threatening player the other day, was frustrating to see him not make the finishes though. Don't think he's crap, but would like to see him make more successful passes in the area or shoot before he skills sometimes.

He is always looking to create something, usually causes problems for defenders! just the final ball is missing.

Double marked like Noone.

it will come.
