3) Fans attacking club legends like Whitts via the stands
4) Lack of passion in the stands and just expecting to win - glory culture

Id rather the club go into admin, be reborn as a phoenix club, then a consortium of actual fans buys it out and a fans representative or a few like yourself, TLG, etc. run things in cooperation with the fans and then we get the club we want and should have and not Vincent Tan's toy every sellout wants to play with.

Fed up of it now. I've finally cracked and cant contain how I truly feel any longer because of the Whitts abuse. To abuse a club legend like Whitts from the stands and boo him and jeer him is disgusting. Keenor would be utterly dismayed. Shameful.

who stuck 20 pence in you this morning?

you are shooting yourself in the foot James, how can someone call themselves a fan then come out with something like "i hope we go down"

All the idiots who abused a club legend like Whittingham. Utter vermin they are.

Shooting myself in the foot? Not going to do much damage is it considering we already sold our souls to Tan. Im a fan of the true Cardiff City FC, not Vincent Tan's red corporate sham of Cardiff City FC.

I've made my feelings known. At least you're a real fan. Enjoy the club as much as you can. I'll be back when Tan and his red bandwagon of glory supporters who boo club legends are gone. Enjoy the derby. Absolute disgusting the treatment of Whitts.

Until then I'll support a conference team who deserve it. I cant bring myself to continue supporting Tans red dragon franchise any longer sorry with these plastics who abuse club legends.

like i said to you before, agree completely with the whitts thing, but increased attendances from more "casual"fans are going to happen with sucess, its not just us, it happens to every club.

if we were back in the 4th division we wouldnt get half of what we get now, with sucess brings bigger crowds, and generally, as more casual football/cardiff supporters, these fans will be less informed about the history of the club, less interested in behind the scenes goings on, and less knowledgeable about the players who play for us.

I realise thats a sweeping generalisation, but i think its true.

In my opinion a few reasons.

The remaining fixtures below, that itself to me tells a lot.

Ole is fresh and we have a new belief and confidence is growing fast. :ole:

Green arrow you go on about plastics newbies etc and that we deserve to go down because of fans selling out, jeering players and so on. What about the fans who have hated every part of the re brand but have decided to carry on supporting the team hoping that one day tan will see sense or sell us on to someone who will return us to our former identity. You have put everyone into one category and punish us all. I haven't enjoyed the premiership half as much as I thought but I still don't want us to be relegated especially as our financial situation is still precarious. If people who were thinking of buying a season ticket next year in the new tier read your constant angst about fans who didn't go to that famous Tuesday night game against Rochdale . they would be put off by people like you. Its not as if you have to serve an apprenticeship to become a supporter. There are constant threads by lots of other people about are we a bigger club than so and so. Were bigger than rugby etc. So just except not everyone in that ground will have the same knowledge, history or passion as each other. Just don't wish for something that could have massive repercussions for OUR team

Sorry to say this but City are much more likely to go down. Not being pessimistic but realistic. :(
They are unlikely to keep a clean sheet.
They are unlikely to win another away game all season.
City just will not score enough if OGS plays 4-5-1 and takes Mutch off on the hour.
They do not have a good enough central defensive midfielder to assist Medel.
City do not have a decent defensive pair of full backs.
We know nothing of Cala but if Turner or Hudson play another game then City will suffer.

That's my view and it all was there for us to see v Norwich. A win yes but 9 times out of 10, Norwich would have won that. city have harder teams to play that them, at home.
They have attacking players but the wingers cannot defend.

An example of all this was the fortunate way City held on v Norwich.

I don't think they will go down and I don't think we will go down. They have a lot more in terms of quality than a lot of teams down there with us.

There's always a midtable side that starts well then falls down. At first I was worried it was us but right now Hull are just getting worse and worse.

I don't think hull will go down

Norwich and Fulham have horrible run ins far too many big teams to play at home where they will drop points

As for the other team could be any of but I'd sway towards Sunderland or stoke

Purely cos they have more home games against top 10 sides where they also will inevitably drop points and I would argue they won't get many away from home either

Just for arguments sake. I did a predictor and this is what I came up with

P GD PTS
1 Man City 38 65 88
2 Arsenal 38 44 88
3 Chelsea 38 43 87
4 Liverpool 38 47 79
5 Tottenham 38 10 76
6 Man Utd 38 18 63
7 Everton 38 10 59
8 Newcastle 38 7 58
9 Southampton 38 5 54
10 Hull City 38 0 53
11 Norwich 38 -29 40
12 Swansea 38 -10 39
13 Cardiff 38 -24 38
14 Aston Villa 38 -13 37
15 Stoke 38 -25 37
16 West Brom 38 -16 33
17 West Ham 38 -24 32
18 Fulham 38 -47 31
19 Sunderland 38 -29 30
20 C Palace 38 -32 29

We have a very good chance to stay up as we have played most of the 'BIG 5' twice already :ole: :ole: :ole: :ole: :ole: :ole: :ole: :ole: :ole: :ole: :ole: :ole: :ole:

will take a lot more points than 32 to stay up. thing about doing these things is its hard to stay away from bias.

West Brom getting just 4 more points all season for example?

i think we are going to need at least 37 to stay up this season, maybe a couple more.

Re: If Anyone is going to go down it will be the Jacks not u

It is asking a lot of City to win all their '6 pointer' home games.

I cannot see City gaining many, if any, away points...........what gets me is that other lower league clubs pull off unexpected away wins (Sunderland at Everton, Hull at Newcastle, Palace at WBA) but not City.

Lakey, they have a lot more about them in terms of quality than most of the teams down there but I also believe we have just enough to stay up ourselves.

My prediction is Swansea will be well away from the relegation battle by the start of April and we will secure our survival with 2-3 games to go. In Bony they have a striker who can score goals against anyone, unfortunately we won't have that until next season.
