How to lift the team

I think Bellamy was right with his criticism of the fans over the Whittingham substitution and I think we are all to blame for the team getting nervous and playing to deep in matches like today and against Sunderland.

The fans nerves and applause are transmitted to the team. I think this could be rectified by having the same chants and songs for the last 15 minutes of each half with the same sequence each match. This would encourage those who don't know all the songs or who do not normally sing to join in and it would stop the negativity of the fans and ultimately players that we saw today. If this was organised by some of the fans reps who know all of the songs, then the club might print the list in the program or on a song sheet.

The first half hour of each half can be left to the impromptu songs, chants and ayatollah requests. I think the Canton Stand need to lead as they are definitely the most vocal. Other suggestions welcome.
