Surely Marshall would still be first choice but would be great to have another keeper as good as Marshall to give him some relief when injured or over played?

Cardiff are now trying to do a deal direct with Man United to sort out the compensation. Molde the club are fed up of the agent solbakken because of the deal he had originally done.

Solksjaer wants the Diouf deal completed soon and I am told he will be at the Cardiff City Stadium tomorrow to watch the game against West Ham. Ole wants Diouf and goalkeeper Oliver Nyland in next week before the Man City game.

Wilfried Zaha has been in Cardiff yesterday for talks and a loan deal is looking very promising.

Craig Bellamy will be in the matchday squad for the game against West Ham and he has also told Ole that he would like to extend his contract.

Ole's like a whirlwind players everywhere, looking forward to seeing them tomorrow :ayatollah:

Misled Mike wrote:Marshall has been an outstanding shot stopper this season but in my opinion does not command his 6 yard box at set pieces which is his weakness. His distribution of the ball at times is very poor to but like someone has already stated he,s been worth 8/9 points this season.

I think the points mentioned are the reason we got him for less than a million instead of £20m.

CCFC defenders should know a keepers weaknesses and also strengths, if he won't come off his line then the defenders should know its there ball to clear. I have the same argument with people near my seat in the ground. Marshall £ for £ is one of the best signings we've made for years! If you want the finished product you have to pay top dollar.

Eikrem
Daehli
Diouf
Zaha
Nyland (hopefully just back up/future star and not Marshall replacement)

That's a very good window for our midfield/attack, but I feel we badly need a new LB and CB, both to help with first team duties and better depth in defence. If we can bring in all these, plus a defender or two, I would be very confident for the rest of the season.

I hope I'm wrong but I don't see zaha happening. On bench tonight and talk of Fabio on loan. Your only allowed one loanee from one club. Hopefully someone will tell me this is wrong.

Seems like 4 players

Rule 52.2.2 No Club may sign more than 4 loan Players (Standard, International, Emergency or Youth) from another Club (or club) in any Season. An additional Youth Loan Player may be added to this figure.

Yes but I'm sure prem rules only allow one from each club. So I.e. we couldn't have two man utd loanees.
