Just wondering if the Hull fans feel that chanting against..

Sun Dec 01, 2013 3:57 pm

the name change is effecting the players given the win they had today..?

Their chants and banners are having a far better effect than BUs marches ever had due to people thinking that protests during the game will effect the players for some reason.

But their protest chants (after 17 minutes) were positive towards the team, (hull city till i die) they were not chanting for the chairman to go or any negative chants were they.

Excatly but there was a negative reaction by many about the possibility of chanting against the rebrand during the game. Hull done it today and it was impressive and sent a message to the world about their feelings on the subject.

i think the difference is not many are new to hull ...and therefore want no change....we as a team have doubled in our attendances and i feel the new supporter of cardiff city doesnt have any feeling of the history of the club and if relegated would soon disappear....not stirring just my honest opinion.. :ayatollah:

I think knowing that there is a certain point during a game where everyone focuses on can be very effective. 19 mins and 08 seconds because thats when the club started wearing blue in 1908 could work with the media in getting the point across.

people like me what exactly are you implying?
what exactly makes you different from me then?

we would have to really sink to get down to what it was like all that time a go, even if we do get relegated we would be one of the favourites to go back up, yes we will lose fans but I doubt its going to be a mass walk out

As long as they stick together then they will have a chance and hopefully they will not have too :ayatollah: many Assem Allam apologists amongst their ranks. :ayatollah:

Maybe so but looking at another post and his reaction to demo yesterday, I seriously doubt he'll change mind. Sounds lot more of a dictator than tan?

Tan went ahead with the rebrand because we gave him the green light. He was prepared to not go through with it but stated that if we did not agree then he would not be investing as he had intended but also gave the promise that he had an affection for the club and would leave us in a good position so perhaps we should have taken him up on his offer.
Personally I think we should have stuck to our guns as we had the safety blanket of his promise that he was not throwing us to the dogs.I will never fail to see how this offer could have been interpreted as going into administration. :ayatollah:

There are also people saying that hes using this issue as a reason to sell and its the classic buy a lower league club take it to the prem and then sell. Surely the publicity surronding this will only benefit in attracting new buyers from all over
