Langston debt finally signed this morning, the paper work was signed in their lawyers offices this morning.
Vincent Tan and Langston/Sam Hammam have finally sorted the historic Langston Debt.![]()
![]()
All I can say is I am finally glad its all over and Our Club and us fans can move on, but what it does say and show that Langston did have a case all along as other wise £15 mill, plus shares, plus Sam having his own Directors joining the board, would not have happened.
Bit by bit over this coming season the whole truth will come out once and for all.![]()
![]()
What is great is that both Tan and Sam get on really well, they have had over 20 odd private meetings and plenty of time out away from the club and other staff members etc.
Sam said last night, Tan doesnt just want to survive in the Premier League, he wants to be up there with the best and challenge for everything.![]()

The way some fans have reacted you would think they had wanted this deal to fail.
There had to be a deal done no matter what fans believe, want to believe or even go as far as drumming up malicious lies.
What you have now is Tan with the money brains and Sam with the football knowledge(never been relegated/never lost contact with the football world). For those that love Tan but hate Sam even though Sam started this whole dream, then surely if Tan is happy to work with Sam it cant be bad?
Tan now has to turn the debt in to equity/shares and judging by what he has done so far he will.
Tan went straight back to Malaysia to start another big deal and is not expected back till August.
But I keep saying to myself and I bet thousands of other fans keep saying it, if only we had kept our Identity, this could of been so much better, the feelings and passion for me would of been so much greater.
Like I have said before, I support my team Cardiff City, but I dont have to support and agree with the Regime, until we get our Identity back.![]()

For now I will wear my BLUE, cheer my team on no matter what and look forward to a tough but very exciting season ahead in the PREMIER LEAGUE.![]()

In my eyes he just tried to go too far too soon, he loves Cardiff City with a passion but at the same time is a very successful businessman. Lets hope the two combine and he helps VT take us to glories that were a decade ago beyond our wildest dreams![]()

Sam will have nothing to do with Malky or the team nor will he be involved in recruitment of players

Unfortunately, Annis, I think this was true and somewhat sinister![]()
As I said elsewhere, this deal HAS to be good for Cardiff City FC AND its genuine supporters, as the club can now move on with an air of positivity about its financial and structural position![]()
That Sam has been paid at all is a vindication of his/Langston's position and also of the information people like yourself and others close to Sam provided. Anything else would surely have seen Vincent Tan pursue a non-payment strategy![]()
Personally, I am glad it is all over and I am glad Sam has been given an 'honorary' position (away from influence on club finances) because he was after all the man who started the snowball rolling; albeit with a certain recklessness that almost took us to the wall. However, if we are honest with ourselves, very few (if any) of us who were there complained at the time, as we were all intoxicated with Sam's personality, character and enthusiasm![]()
It's time to move on and it's time to forgive and forget all that has gone before. Why? Because what is done is done and cannot be reversed. Cardiff City FC and its supporters have a bright future ahead and it is that we need to be concentrating on![]()
Vincent Tan (and now Sam) have delivered on their promises and each deserves credit for their part in the Cardiff City Story - Millennium Chapter. Nice one gents!![]()
