If all 2000 plus are genuine Cardiff City Fans surely the best way forward would be to join the trust. A trust with 3000 plus members would be just the platform to lobby the Club with strength, while at the same time retain the integrity of an official Body. Message board, Splinter Groups, or any stand alone entity stand little chance. After all the Trust have made it clear they stand in the Blue Corner, and yes I am a Trust member.

But at least they are a formal group that the club currently recognise . That's got to give them at least a bit of leverage to get a message across . Office at ground etc .

Working Class maybe, but people who have a right to come up with this stuff? and I include myself in that.

Poeple who never went to games anyway or only went for a fight at the match.

People who never went before the rebrand, never mind since.

Honestly mate, I know a lot of them, some are mates, but their stance is a bit of a joke realy, Im not going to come on here and be a hypocrite about it all.

Fucks sake, half of them never went when we were blue unless there was a row in it never mind red or pink with yellow ribbons.

Do you have an actual opinion, JonCCFC, or are we to take 'The Ayatollah' as some sort of symbol that you agree with at least one of the comments above?

Just to contribute on a maybe surprising note, as you've not listened to anything else I've written, I would certainly support a move to allow the Trust an opportunity to meet with club officials in an effort to get some kind of common ground ;)

Although I have little belief that anything regarding colour can or will be changed, I am broadly in support of any decent and coordinated approach that just might see a cooling of current hostilities, as there are far more important things on the horizon IMHO, including an assault on the Premier League, which is daunting enough without all the in-fighting because some fans can't see the wood for the trees and refuse to see what is truly important, i.e. the very future of Cardiff City FC for many years to come ;) :ayatollah:

No point. Im not going as I have things to do. Not gonna just waste my time which is what this is.

1) Tan dont care for the fans opinion
2) He has said we'll always be red at home
3) Only his beliefs matter

That all says to me we'll never be in blue under Tan and because hes the owner we have no influence if he wont listen to the fans. We cant do a damn thing. Its even harder now because if we try and make a stand the plastic Prem fans will be there in force and Tan will just see a full stadium.

Sorry, but you're just setting yourselves up for disappointment. Also Tan is not leaving a Prem club. He said he might leave last summer. We were still a debt ridden Championship club holding only onto hope. Now we're in the Prem with a financial windfall...Not a chance hes walking.

Tan will laugh off the fans. Hes that type of man. Thats why hes rich.

That's not quite true, as there will be a lot of non-plastics there too; the ones who are realistic enough to appreciate that what you state above (1, 2 & 3) is pretty much how it is :ayatollah:

With that in mind, I am just going to turn up and support the team as I have done since I was six years of age :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Im not on about our fans you plonker. Im on about Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea, City fans from South Wales who can get a season ticket in our stadium to watch Premier League football on the cheap. They get to see their team once and all the talents of the PL for around £400 whereas at their club, Arsenal for example, it'd be double that. Tan has fans by the balls. Walk in an act of defiance and plastics will jump in your spot. What do you think happened at Swansea? The Liberty didn't see out with Jacks which meant that plastics can get tickets there and sit in their home end all season. Basically just using the club.

All I was doing was implying that I think it's a good thing that people are getting together to discuss ways of getting our blue back. What's your problem? The big difference between now and 10 months ago , is quite simply-promotion. Financially that makes us more stable, so everyone has now grown a pair  which is fair enough, as anyone in their right mind knows that we will always be blue :ayatollah: So let's now get things rolling and get our identity back :ayatollah:

Don't think any one is saying that . I am now a member of both . They should work together. They have the same goal with regards to the rebrand . Unfortunately it's already been seen that any clown can press a button to join a Facebook group . I think this one is different however , everything is very well written and already seen some good constructive ideas about how to progress cause . Don't know her but we'll done to the organiser .

Think a closed group helps too . You can easily see what someone is about by having a quick gander at their profile . Some may say this is a bad thing . I disagree . The purpose of the group is obvious . If you are happy with the rebrand please don't bother . If you would like to see the club return to blue then the group is very relevant .

Before any meetings are organised If this group wants to attract the full spectrum of City fans regarding the changes made (reluctant reds, not that really bothered by it reds & anti-reds) and be taken seriously they need to set out a agenda on what action they will take to bring back our traditional colours/badge. Then people who would otherwise would be instantly dismissive of the whole idea can see if they want to attend the meeting and get involved
