The bloke is an absolute legend, some1 who has earned the worlds respect and admiration after this amazing gesture.
Ok, I agree he's stinking rich but, I doubt any other high profile sportsman would ever do this.

Don't listen to the press, he said he's donating his wage, the press don't know how much he's earning, most of his earnings at LA and again at PSG will be from image rights and sponsorship. The press bound around the 150k when they inc the other figures. I'd hazard a guess its about. 25/30k a week, which is still a hell of a lot to donate dont get me wrong, hes very very generous, alot more than most! but don't be fooled that he's not earning, he's getting a lot more for his image rights. Since the French have an extortion of a tax rate, this will no doubt be paid through his company name in the uk, to avoid one of the highest tax rates going for a country as sound as France.
