a very good defender, but come on! not worth that fee or the wage really.

It's mad hay, things are getting stupid now, to "save" the game people need to step in and stop it all and cap wages

I'd love to know QPR wage bill, it wouldn't surprise me if its one of the highest in the league.

And Redknapp had the cheek to say that the wage bill was already to high before throwing money at that idiot. If they go down they are going to be screwed

there's a few more at QPR who are on 100k a week, He did this at portsmouth and look how that turned out

Bosingwa at 100k has to be one of the worst signings I've ever heard.

Lets hope they go down

Sorry but Samba is a class player and still had a few years on his contract. Its a great deal for QPR and will give them the authoritative figure in defence they should have bought in the summer.

that's fine, he's good, well better than what they got anyway, but do you believe he's worth 12.5 mil and 100k a week in wages? :?

Hes worth £12.5m yes for a defender. When you factor in Ferdinand went for the price he did and that inflation is much higher now than then its a good deal.

£100k wages are insane but thats modern football and if you want class players you got to pay this money unfortunately. He's a quality player still and most will say 'meh' because he's played in Russia and off plenty of peoples radar but he'll still do a brilliant job in the Premiership.

Great signing for QPR.

Arry already saying he had no involvement with the money on this deal  He said he wanted him and Fernandes did the deal

The wages are nowhere near his ability though. Yes he's good a defender but theyre are much better that you could get for the same price and lower wage. Bale is only on about 80k at spurs and he's their best player.

If he was that good why didnt another prem club go in for him when he left blackburn

If he was really worth £12.5m then there would have been a lot more Premiership teams in for him. Seems to smell of desperation to me.

he probably told them to better his salary he was getting at Anzhi or there would be no deal! as we all know Anzhi are paying mega bucks and they pay Eto'o £370k a week :o
