It's been mentioned that Redknapp is offering him as part of a deal for other strikers like Crouch.

Odd decision, similar to Smith, albeit younger. Great player. Must be gambling on a lot from Crouch.

I would love to see mackie join. He just keeps running for the team

I don't honestly know if Mackie is still a player that Malky Mackay would like to sign but he certainly made moves for him last season, whether the signing of Campbell changes the situation I am not sure.

But certainly interesting if QPR are looking to off load him.

If I was a QPR fan I'd be raging if I knew the gaffer wanted rid off Mackie to replace him with Crouch.


It's a long shot as there will be a host of suitors after his signature.
