My understanding of it is if they commit they will expand their stadium capacity and they dont intend to do it in one go to 10,000. If I am wrong can NJ 73 enlighten me on it.
Reason why I am interested, maybe our club could do it and our fans could sign up for 5 years and that would be a good incentive for us to expand?

We've got plans to extend up to 32,000, in three different 4,000 instalments. So say if we were to extend the ground to 28,000, but found that even against the top teams we were getting 26-27,000 crowds we wouldn't go ahead to extent to 32,000. It's just sensible buisness from the club, to make sure that the ground isn't too big for us whilst we're at the level we aspire to be in.

Would you commit to five years Kidwelly?
It think most would if there was a relegation clause, a bit the the players have in their contracts. You stay up and the commitment stands, relegated an fans can opt out.

And how do you arrive at that opinion, because in reality no one knows what sort of crowds the swans will have in the future, if we keep moving forward as we are at the moment 30000 + is not out of the question, if we were to go down we'd be back to 15000.

I just think that next season if we go up (which is looking extremely likely) we'll take some of your fairweather fans, just like you've taken some of ours. You could easily get 30,000 for Utd, Chelsea etc, but when it comes to the likes of Wigan, Villa, Sunderland, Newcastle you would struggle to get over 25,000. Like I said, my opinion

All if's and but's what happens if we get into europe and finish top 10 every season then 28000 will not be big enough, our games against man u man city liverpool spurs aresenal chelsea we could get 40000 if the stadium was big enough, so 32000 seems fine by me.

You have grown the product great over the last few years. I would think your model would be looking to mimic say a Stoke or WBA. Stoke seem to have hit a level, their stadium of 28k is usually around 1k off capacity for the standard prem games. They are only talking recently of going to 30k and that is after five years in the Premier League.
