I personally think we need another central midfielder. On paper we appear to have enough depth, but if Whittingham or Gunnarsson were to ge injured I'm not convinced Mutch, McPhail or Kiss are adequate replacements.

Do u seriously think we d get another midfielder in,when u just named three others who could be back up?

No I don't but what I am saying is the backup isn't good enough. Kiss just runs around like a headless chicken and doesn't bring anything. Mutch looked decent (at best, he did ok but can't recall him dominating a game) when he joined but since his injury hasn't been anywhere near as effective.McPhail as much as I respect him I just can't see him regaining fitness or form, hence why he's been made available. I forgot to mention Cowie, I know there are many on here who aren't a fan but I do actually rate Cowie. Since he moved into CM his performances picked up, he's not creative enough however. If Whittingham were to get injured/banned we'd be fucked.

I don't see why we don't put a cheeky loan bid in for someone like Nick Powell at United. I don't think he would be an unrealistic signing.

agree, kiss been a waste of time, played all year when he was on loan, then we sign him permanently and dont get a game, mutch has been really dissapointing i was expecting to be alot better, birmingham fans were raving about him ,but he s shown nothing at all,as for mcphail sadly tim for him to call it a day

I don't think we need one as I feel kimbo can be more of a creative player in the middle.

Mutch Had a good start but hasn't hit form after his lengthy lay off.. GIVE HIM TIME.
Kiss I agree has been disappointing but again has never been able to get a run in th team.
Ralls hasn't seen much game time at all.
THE LATTER TWO COULD DO WITH SHORT TERM LOANS .
Don Cowie has been a bit part player and IMO has done well when he has been called upon .

As for transfers ; Lappin deal to be concluded early in the week. And I feel another could follow before the deadline. If not though, the loan window will be available if required.

Why buy beccio? Surely he's a dead wage in about 6 months, as I don't see him being a premiership forward, i think hes at his peak.
