Of course that's a possibility but look at how promoted teams have done in the passed couple opf seasons.
Norwich and Swansea comfortable mid table finishes. QPR scraped survival.
This season West Ham on track for a comfortable mid table finish. Southampton on the up and Reading almost out of the relegation zone after a poor start.
Then look at some of the former heavyweights.
Villa is on the verge of relegation. Newcastle are near the bottom of the league. Liverpool are inconsistent.
We could adapt straight away to the top league or we could struggle neither of us knows, but on recent prmoted team form I'd got for adapt.
All you're doing is giving yourselves a pat on the back.

Can't wait for you to come up and have that arrogant attitude rammed down your throat. Give it 20 mins into your first game against an established Premier League team and you will see the massive difference in the pace and quality of the Premier League.

The irony of you taking the piss out of a number of clubs who have previously walked the championship when you have struggled to get out of it year after year after year.

You are Wilts are the most bitter fans on here, Swansea this and Swansea that, its laughable at times.
Normal service, righto. We will go into next season as an established Premier League club with quite likely a major cup win and European football secured and you think you can compete with that by winning promotion from the championship.
Keep clutching at those straws mush its quality reading.

I'm not detracting from the achievement of getting to the final, but 'major' cup? Really?
