Carpal tunnel Op

Anyone had this? Having it done next Friday, got a one year old boy etc does anyone know what it will be like for the week/few weeks after.

Hiya mate, my mother had this op about 8 months ago due to her fingers being constantly numb/pin and needles. She said the op was not too bad. It was tender for a number of weeks after but she is well happy that she had it done as her hand/fingers are back to normal. Nice neat scar so nothing to worry about.
