went there for a family meal earlier today, never again, ordered the chicken and prawn meal. with jack daniels sauce, the meal was brought out to me . and i thought . thats it. a farty little piece of chicken breast, 5 prawns in a batter. and frozen mash potatoe, with some veg. and they wanted £13.99. i was not a happy bluebird, so when the waitress came at the end she said, everything ok with your meal.i said honestly no, i wasnt kicking off but told here what i thought of the meal. she was nice. and for the 3 of us the bill should have been about £40, charged us £12, thats fine, but i would have had a better night staying in and a couple of beers and a takeaway.

The food is massively over priced and not great.

Some nice cocktails tho

these were chicken breasts that you get from farmfoods 5 pieces for a £1, looked like they had sliced the mash potatoe. im really not a person to complain. if the meal was £4.99 i would have eaten it and said nothing, my wife saying, dont say nothing. i thought no. im not paying those prices for a shit meal, the waitress was nice a bout it. although we had what we had cheaper. i feel i wasted my evening going there

Yeah, I'm not a fan of TGI Friday's or Frankie and Benny's. I can often cook the same food just as nicely in my own home for cheaper. I prefer going to restaurants that specialise in a certain food rather than these jack of all trades establishments. I think I do just begrudge paying so much for food that is essentially quite basic.

TGI's is far better than F&B's.

Both places I would only go to with the kids to be honest.

F&B's seem to institutionalise shit service for some reason. But the food is ok.

TGI's is ok for what it is.

Spice Root > All other food.

Polo is right, they are places to go that are kid friendly, the rack of ribs and the burgers are decent in TGI's

Nah you put together stir fry raw and they cook it there and then, gorgeous the desserts are good too.
