Quite simply the ball boy was trying to waste time which a lot of ball boys do, but he took it way way too far. Whilst Swansea fans will defend him to the hilt his actions were embarrassing and unfortunately whilst I would love Swansea to come out and condemn him I suspect they won't as no doubt some stupid legal case will be made against Hazard.

Hazard was also way out of order and deserved the red card as you just can't do what he did. Yes he dislodged the ball but in doing so he clearly kicked the boy as well.

All in all a bad night for football ultimately caused by the ball boy's actions. He has taken the shine off his clubs success and whilst some are suggesting that he won the game for Swansea, Chelsea deserved nothing out of the game.

I remember well last year all the 'Mickey Mouse Cup' taunts by the Swansea fans when we made the Final and no doubt we will be chucking it back. We can take comfort knowing we lost to Liverpool whilst playing Championship football when Swansea no doubt beat Division 2 Bradford to lift the cup but in all honesty it is very much a Mickey Mouse Cup that I suspect will soon be binned when Platini expands the Champions League and cancels the Europa League when there will then no longer be a route into Europe

Being a professional ball boy is a noble thing and takes skill to quickly give the ball to your players and just ever so slowly,almost imperceptibly, return it to the opposition.

What I saw was a big fat tw*t ball boy lying on the ball. Should be sacked for not doing his job right.

Is that this is how the younger generation look up to these players. They see all the play acting and think its the right thing to do. Where I'm from, if someone hits you you pretend it didn't hurt and then have a good cry when no one is looking. Any hope we have of stomping out play acting is surely now a lost cause......
