He was the highest scoring midfielder in la pigs last season, so hardly. My guess is they are giving him a pay rise and increasing or including a release clause.

Don't care a bit about the Jacks, Cardiff are my team, why are people obsessed with them

Don't normally comment on threads about the Jacks, as I don't really care about them all that much. I'd rather talk about Cardiff City's promotion.

But I have to say, what a great signing Michu was. Even the people who despise the Jacks the most have to admit that, he's an incredible player and fair play to Laudrup.

But I think he'll be given a pay rise, to be in line with our current highest earners at around £30k a week and we'll have probably put a high sell on clause in their. I think it's just us making sure we can demand top dollar if a big club was to come in for him, but at the same time if he does decide to stay we've got him on a long enough deal for him to be a club legend and help us to consolidate Premier League status with his goals.
