Away from home MM seems to prefer a solid defensive midfield, with 2 smaller and quicker forwards, to try and tire out the opposition defense and pull them out of position.

So he puts Conway and Kim on the wings (both strong defensively) and a choice of Bellamy/Mason/Smith up front.
Now he can add Campbell to the forward options, just think of Bellamy and Campbell as a forward pairing during the last 15/20 mins. against tired defenders?
Helguson to come on and batter the centre backs as well.

I agree with you on "what he will probably go with" except he'll play conway instead of Noone because conway is better defensively and Noone tends to get booked for his tackling. Still very strong with Campbell, Noone and Heidur coming on to mix it up n the second half.
