Has anyone had experience with Vending Machine businesses..?

I was asked earlier if I wanted to come-in on an idea someone had.

Anyone know if the profit is really there within this industry or not..?

I've had experience with beating the s**t into them at Cardiff Central Station.

Brownie, like any other rental business but you basically get the markup on whatever yr selling in 'em.

Yeah I know what you mean. I was asked to become a partner by someone who wants to use me in getting the machines onto the shop floors of my clients sights.

Dont really want to put present working relationships at risk over a non-profitable business hense my question.

Well, you sell it as an improvement to the site, makes their workers happier/ more productive etc.

You don't usually charge the company/site anything but instead make the markup buying the stock wholesale and selling retail. Then u just pay a delivery boy to restock the machines once a week. Thats the only overhead apart from servicing the loan to buy the machines.

Know them well . First year company will save 000`s . problem is the stocking and credit terms given to manufacturers .

They are good but you need to manage the inventory which will take several months
