I am led to believe he wont leave us entirely in the shit but could walk with the parachute payments etc.

To be honest this is my opinion Tan has been made to look bad the world over and has been a bit embarrassing in his home country so if he was to destroy us that would not look good on him.

I understand there was no wrong doing with Malky he and Moody was sacked for personal reasons.
It was never ever anything to do with money, it was a personal thing with Moody and Tan and Malky backed Moody, Tan had private emails on Moody which Malky did not distance himself from and Tan demanded an unreserved apology.

Craig Bellamy is not wanted by Ole, but Tan wants Bellamy to stay at all costs.
Bellamy refused to play for City v Stoke and went of to Florida with his daughter.

Dalman has considered leaving and it is still on the cards.

Tan will leave if we fail to go back up next season.

Tan has employed a new rebranding company regarding the Red and intends not to let up on it, he has no intentions on compromising and the only thing that hurts him not marches, but the demos in the ground, blue in the ground is finally getting to him, but that still wont make him go, he intends to go more Red.

latest news from where nukes? source? it just sounds like all the gossip from this board put in one post. and as sven says, not very accurate and more malicious in intent.

I didn't say that, Nathan, so please don't use me for your own well-documented agenda. My views are my own and will sometimes cross the great divide regardless of which side they fall on ;)

Nukes is a friend of mine and if i didn't agree with him I would tell him to his face and vice versa. We wouldn't have it any other way!

I don't know whether Nukes is right or wrong, but I was referring to a number of non-specific individuals who have an agenda that doesn't necessarily have the "best interests" of Cardiff City Football Club at heart and some of which I have my doubts are Cardiff City fans at all. These most certainly do not include the likes of Nukes and others who genuinely have the interests of Cardiff City Football Club at heart, even if we don't always agree on how that should be achieved

If some fans were a little more 'open' in their approach to the current situation at our great club, then there would be space to find 'common ground' although I am convinced that with some it will always be a case of "My way or no way" (which is ironically much the same view as the guy who has put c.£140m into the club in the last few years has had until now)

Perhaps if he (Tan) can start trying to find 'compromise' (no matter how small) then it's the least that those that truly have the "best interests" of Cardiff City Football club at heart can by listening and talking respectfully

Forever Blue spoke to Tan recently and (if I understood his words correctly) was a little taken aback at how Tan took time to talk with him whilst others tried to usher him away. He (Forever Blue) has stated that and also added that he has been invited to meet further with Tan and has agreed to do so when/if the offer is confirmed

The reason? He (Forever Blue) can see the value in "talking" as a way to get the fans views across and (equally important) to get the views of Vincent Tan in return. Only then can a way forward be achieved, although that might require the dreaded word "compromise" in order for all to move forward together

Bring it on, I say, because the future of Cardiff City Football Club is what is important to me

Quote (Forever Blue): "We must continue the BLUE protests at every home and away games in the ground, it really does get to him and the world sees it"

In fairness, I have said this from the start, as it is IMHO the ONLY visible (and non-divisive) way of letting Vincent Tan and his 'advisors' know how the vast majority of fans feel about the BLUE

It may well be that many reluctantly 'accepted' the red "for the sake of the club's existence" a couple of years ago, but that doesn't mean they WANTED it and THAT is where the "Sea of Blue" at the stadium can show Vincent Tan the truth of the matter!

Nukes, you are 100% correct that Lim got his marching orders last week but Tan changed his mind and gave him his job back.

Mr Chu is in the club right now and he is one of two people that Tan trusts and we will hear and see a lot more of Chu in the not too distant.

Alex, you are (where this subject is concerned) very bitter and it does you no credit. There are none (as it is now becoming more and more apparent with the revelation that a number of 'stories' circulated in recent times were simply not true) who can be labelled more (your words) as having "lied and twisted situations with ordinary fans" than certain 'fans' themselves

stop talking soft. I like you Chris, but don't call me bitter for suggesting that a Tan has lied. He has lied to supporters. That is a fact.

How would YOU have things move forward in a manner that would 'engage' with the current owner and allow the club to move towards a more harmonious existence? :?

cut the condescending bold text mate. I can read it well enough without it. I wouldn't 'engage' with this current owner. He is killing this club & the long term future is grim with this man here.

IF after 'talks' with grass root fans he (Tan) is then proven to be what some portray him to be, then at least we will all KNOW it as a FACT rather than being fed agenda-filled gossip by some pretty embittered people ;)

where have I gossiped about anything in this thread?! I base my opinions on facts.

The fact that he has destroyed the identity of this club.
The fact that under his guidance, the club have got into more debt than ever.
The fact that he now admits that he won't transfer debt to equity... Despite this being the reason that most begrudgingly accepted his horrific rebrand.

As usual, I suspect the TRUTH will be somewhere in between and although it appears not to suit you, it might just result in a better understanding of all parties positions and I think anyone who wouldn't want to at least try to 'engage' doesn't have the interests of Cardiff City Football Club at heart

Sadly, I think there are some pretty vocal people on this forum that are in that latter group and your continued comments on the matter suggest YOU are one of them

cry me a f*cking river then. If you don't like my opinions, I suggest you block me. Who on earth do you think you are to tell people that they don't have the best interests of CCFC at heart... Just because you disagree with them?!

Imagine if I had suggested that about anyone who wears a red shirt?!

I normally really respect your views Chris, but am disappointed at your response to my post, to say the least.
All I did was suggest that Tan could lie some more... Seeing as he has already misled/lied to supporters once.

Alex, no big debate here. You made a brief statement that annoyed me and I responded, as you have done to many before now and I hope that it doesn't spoil the otherwise cordial relationship we have. It's all about vews

I think you have read/interpreted large parts of my post incorrectly, as at no stage did I call you a "gossip" (it was general term for the mischief makers who most certainly are out there) but I did say you were "bitter" on this particular subject, i.e. Tan. Are you saying you are not?? :?

I agree that Tan appears to have lied, but so have others on here...and that is a fact! It's all about agendas

Forget the 'bold' text, as that's just my style and there are far more important things going on here, like the opportunity to "engage" with the current owner. Not to do so would, IMHO, be wrong and could throw the long term future of this club into doubt simply because no one properly "informed" Tan of paying supporters views. That, to me, is "grim"

When all is truly weighed up, the biggest thing Tan has done wrong is the change from blue to red and I am pretty sure we are all upset with that. The rest? Well, debt-to-equity is (polite wording) "on-going" but he has sorted a lot of the historical debt and other issues out, including getting our stadium back to the egg-chasers

Finally, I am not telling people that they don't have Cardiff City's interests at heart simply because I don't agree with them, as that would be wholly wrong of me (and anyone else). However, I am saying that there are people out there who do not have the "best interests" of Cardiff City Football Club at heart and I genuinely believe that there are people who would take great pleasure in watching this club "do a Portsmouth" or even worse!

No "crying rivers", fella, and no further debate. I have my views on the whole situation and I desperately want Cardiff City FC to challenge for promotion next season on a firm footing and with all sides pulling together even if that involves "talking to each other"

If that irks some, then so be it!

Wont make any difference. We're not making money as a club and won't without the Sky money of the Premier League. We'll be in admin within days either way.

Craig Bellamy is not wanted by Ole, but Tan wants Bellamy to stay at all costs.

Well both him and Tan can bugger off together somewhere nice.

Bellamy refused to play for City v Stoke and went of to Florida with his daughter.

That's sweet. Maybe we should show him the same loyalty if he does appear for us again.

Dalman has considered leaving and it is still on the cards.

Any chance of Tan and Bellamy going with him if he does? It would be amazing if so.

Any rebranding company advising him that there being red is a viable option in terms of business is a rubbish one and one that will lose mass credibility. Good luck to them if they're willing to sacrifice their business' reputation on the back of one contract.

You don't need to be an expert in rebranding companies to know that the best option from every point of view from financial to customer relations is to return us to blue.

It's tiresome.

Administration? You owe all the money to tan. Give me one reason tan would put you in administration.

Administration being the task where an administrator comes into the club and sells things for what HE thinks is fair, very often at wholesale prices.

Tan will be the master of sales and HE and HE ALONE will be selling your assets... Along with keeping your parachute money of course.

I actually think you are right, but this is better actually because it us in Tan's interest to sell assets for the highest price possible. This will offset as much of the debt as possible (even if it means he takes parachute payments in lieu).

The sooner we get back to our roots with a say in our club's destiny, the better. If that means building steadily by careful money management, so be it.

And like i said, it went shit as soon as you started making stuff up for no reason.

Cant pay off debt with parachute money? What are you on pal?

ffs put link up or rules that says tan can take parachute payments in its entiretee from club? or is it just true because you are never wrong !

I dont need a link, its obvious.

He cant take future parachute payments as he wouldn't have received them yet. Parachute payments are actually over 3 years not 4 years and he can absolutely take the first or second instalment in its entirety being the clubs only creditor.

Anyone saying otherwise is just simply wrong.

 people want to have their cake and eat it im afraid. People make things personal to be every day, yet as soon as im proven right then i should ignore the conversations on this subject that have been made personal in the past? Bollocks :D

Anyway, give me one reason he will put you in administration and accept cut price on everything and lose parachute payments when he can do it himself and keep everything?

People just say things like "administration" yet have absolutely no understanding of what it is or why it is used for. The chance of you being out into administration under Tan is roughly.... Zero

Then 48 hours later last week Tan reinstated Simon Lim as CEO.

Vincent Tan will give us one more season to get us back in the Prem if he fails he will walk away from our Club for good, that is exactly what ive been told and hearing.

Where did you hear this? whoever told you must have made it up  or you must have taps on phones because you could not get any personal info on what tan thinks otherwise :laughing5: :laughing5:
