Hope you give him a good reception when you play at ours in November. Done very well for you lot ;)

He ouzes class and I for one wouldnt give him any shit, one of the best players ive seen in a Swans shirt to be honest.

Major coup if we get him.

Massive, forget all the other players your chasing like Bale and Ronaldo this lad is quality and would add some much needed quality to your back four. Lets hope you dont get him

Caulker would love to play for a club as big as us. He played at Swansea and went back. He knew then they weren't the right South Wales club for him.

Your manager seems to be caught up in same hype as you lot thinking you are far bigger and better than you actually are.

Youve only got two weeks left to start getting some quality in, going after players way out of your league is wasting valuable time and making you look a little bit stupid. Keep it up Malky boy.

You never know if Spurs are in for another centre half, it may be possible. He is better than your two in my opinion, and would be key in keeping us up.......

Not a chance in hell your getting him on a permenant deal. Why would we be spewing, sooner you realise we have different objectives the better.

We dont need a centre half where as you are desperate.

Not on loan I wouldn't. Great for us for a season but was never going to be allowed to leave Spurs on a permenant deal hence why we moved on and signed Chico who has been a revelation.

Your trying to point score over someone who hasnt even signed for you. Bit strange really.

Yes theres no point in point scoring over this as I cant see it happening, he is too good for us IMO

Malky and Tan have champagne taste but your club at the moment is still a pint of dark ale to these 'big' names you're courting.

A lot of ambition being shown,no question but like Ince and Capoue they just don't fancy the club. Not at the moment anyway.

Harsh but fair i think.

Nail, hit, head. When we went up we knew it would be a hard slog and were grateful for every single signing we were able to make. The problem with this lot and their management it seems is they still think way above their station and if they dont get their act together soon they will be going into the Premier League with a championship side. :laughing6:

Capoue is allegedly very close to signing according to many reports in France.

You're right with ince. He didn't fancy it. Capoue has gone quiet for now but I don't think he's actually said no yet has he? As for Caulker, lets just see what happens there. No smoke without fire as they say.

It's a difficult one because you're looking to more than survive, that's patently obvious with who you're looking to bring in and the money you're offering.Blackpool jumped on Tans' wonga as did Toulouse and if we're led to believe tonight's rumours then Spurs have also, although I don't think for one minute they'd sell him permanently. The problem is the player and that calibre of player wants more than a newly promoted side in danger of relegation first time out.I think Malky needs to strike a balance and it's where it becomes more difficult again.Survive this season then it becomes a lot easier to attract theses players.

So there's absolutely no chance that we could sign Caulker on a permanent deal then?

Some of the spurs forums are saying that they have accepted a bid from us of £7.5 million.
