" CITY'S NEW BADGE DESCRIPTION "

At last night's meeting I asked if those present could see the new badge, despite being told no at first with a little persuasion we were shown the new badge.

It is a shield outlined with red, yellow and green ( but I am told that the green was blue ) with a red Welsh dragon at the centre of it, above the badge in red letters is 'CARDIFF CITY FC', below the dragon and again in red lettering is 'EST 1899'.

At the bottom of the shield are the words 'Fire and Passion will seize the day'.

What a load of shit as a badge

Thats not as bad as I was expecting, but still unacceptable.

Well at least its a Welsh dragon, that's something. At least we can still be the pride of Wales.

Maybe the Red lettering should read 'EST 2012'

That actually sounds ok - the only part of this I'm not so sure about though is the badge -

why don't they revert to the old badge we used at the 1927 final?

Otherwise, the St David's cross version with a dragon would be ok.

thanks for the description carl. now for a question for you do you accept that this idea to rebrand is a done deal or do u think a fans backlash will make them think again or maybe upset them enough to walk away . not trying to put you on the spot but your thoughts would be welcome

I don't think it going to come to that. I'm hoping the VT is not an unreasonable man and that when he sees the upset this has caused hopefully there will at least be some compromise.

I'm sick of hearing my own voice but, football is a business. 30 million people live in Malaysia, if this reaches 20% of the country, that's 6 million addition fans........That's twice the population of Wales, sorry but it's a no brainer for me.
