So what's wrong with our club?
1. Hurt from rebrand
2. Lack of exciting football
3. No charismatic owner or manager
4. No cult figure or hero for us to feel passionate about from the stands
5. Low away attendance that create no atmosphere in the ground
6. Huge segregation between home and away fans
Well some of those things can be fixed immediately with the appointment as Craig Bellamy as manager.
I think rs is doing an ok job but we need some fire, some injection, something to get the fans excited about.
It needs to happen now because the club will be faced with season ticket sales of between 5000-10000 for next season unless we go up.
What are you going to do? Keep your £500 to spend on watching wales in France or buy another season ticket to watch the slade show for another year????
Glad to be back on here by the way

Firstly it's if we are doing well.
Then it's down to price.
Bellamy would solve it but only if we were winning games.
People shouldn't have to go to games because of pressure of because they feel they have to go but because they want to go.

As much as I love Craig Bellamy, he is unproven as a manager.
I'd like him to be our manager in the future but don't feel he has the experience to manage us yet. His attitude as a player was excellent. Work rate, discipline and professionalism is something I strongly admire about him. If he can transfer that to management then he can go very far.
Slade is doing a reasonably good job at the moment so no need for Bellers to come yet. However, I'd love for him to be our manager in the future.
His interview on this link though is very interesting:

When I fist started supporting the city it wasn't about exciting football, or winning games it was about Hero's, the atmosphere, a pride with where I was from an opportunity to travel to a foreign country and boast and brag about how good Cardiff is and Wales!!!
Get that back first before what goes on results wise and we got a building block

You talk a lot of sense there mate and put it into words that I couldn't

Keep £500 for France and pay monthly for season ticket
Wed Oct 21, 2015 9:43 pm
I can't believe this is even being suggested, I understand your logic but it's ridiculously ambitious (of Craig Bellamy himself to be a manager for starters) and completely idiotic at the this point in the season when Slade is doing a very decent job.
What happens on the pitch is ALL that matters and we're doing alright at the moment. Don't worry about crowds, just watch them all come crawling back if/when we're in the top 6 come May. The "excitement" and "buzz" will fill Cardiff again if we somehow get promoted.
Just because Bellamy has a few coaching badges here and there doesn't mean shite I'm afraid.

Bellamy as manager ? Why would we want a self confessed huge Liverpool fan as our manager ? Apart for playing for us for a very short time, I can't see why we would go for such an unproven ex professional

What's Bellamy done bar volunteer with the kids? It's no different to David Dunn managing Oldham or James Beattie managing at Stanley(I know he's now a coach at the Jacks)

Also look at Brighton as well, their manager is Chris Hughton for gods sake yet they've got 25k+ each week, our fans are fickle, the City of Cardiff on a whole is full of plastics and that's coming from someone whose lived here my whole life

He needs to get involved down the city in some way.
Something needs to happen to inject some life into the place.

No thanks, we tried a risk in ole and that didn't work out. Bellamy is a hot head he'd be falling out with everyone

We have a manager so another option would be to get behind him rather than coming up with silly ideas which would solve nothing.
Cardiff City are not unique the same fan collapse has happen at other ex-premiership sides and for example will happen to the Jacks when they come down to the Championship next May
Craig Bellamy as manager would only add to the attendance if he was to make us successful, exactly the same as if Russell Slade did.
We have a great opportunity and are well placed after playing some very difficult fixtures. If Middlesbrough turns out to be a turning point in our luck we really could make this a special season.
Let's go for it

we could bring him in as a striker coach, that for me would be a more sensible option

The Jacks want a coach with PL experience, they wouldn't go for Bellamy surely?
Thu Oct 22, 2015 4:03 pm
Craig Bellamy would love to be told what signings coming in next im sure he would be in the massive line of managers waiting to be dictated to, its how we ended up with slade in the first place lets be realistic and think about it. Just like the Churchill dog nodding
