Have we ever had any big away followings in a friendly game can't remember any in my time?

Rangers have sold 8,500 tickets for their freindly in Derby sat,expecting to take 10,000 for a pre season friendly!!

This is true,
i went to both Rangers pre season friendlies last season at Sheff Wed & Bristol.
Atmosphere at both was unbelievable, especially Sheff Wed.
But its all they have to look forward to being in the lower divisions.
But what a day out!
