CITY IN TALKS TO SELL STAR PLAYER FOR £15MILL ?

I heard this afternoon that Liverpool are in talks with City over Steven Caulker.

I know there has been a lot of press speculation about Caulker and clubs including Liverpool have been linked to him but the chap who told me reckons that Liverpool and City are discussing a deal worth £15m.

Personally I am not 100% certain that this is bang on information or just a story that is doing the rounds because of recent press speculation but it does throw up a few questions.

Is Steven Caulker a player you would expect to sell for £15m after signing just a season ago for £8m, also would you think that a deal that much is something City should not turn down ?

One thing that is definite in my opinion and that it is good business by City if they do indeed get £15m for a player that will undoubtedly be looking to move on to strengthen his hopes to play for England on a regular basis.

Carl, Caulker will def be leaving City and Liverpool are favourites to sign him.

I will drive him to Liverpool myself if we could get 15 mil, myself i can see us getting between 8-10mil

15 million, I was hoping someone would offer double what we paid, cash in..

Hopefully Ole brings in 1 or 2 centre backs, he has had a blinder with Cala.

Snap that up. He's not even worth the 8 we paid in my opinion another example of overpriced English players

The fact that Rodgers paid £15m for Joe just makes it all the less likely that he would pay £15m for Caulker as he wouldn't want to make the same mistake twice.

There is no way Liverpool will blow 15 mill on Caulker for a Champions league season. No way

No they don't. There's no clause linking him to Spurs in his contract.

Apart from Coutinho and Sturridge they're absolutely pathetically awful!

He is far too young to be captain of a pl team. Always looked at his best alongside ash they were a perfect fit. The added pressure of leading a pl side and a side in a bit of turmoil was never going to help his game.
