I've got it on good authority that Jamie Mackie is one of Neil Warnock's top targets this summer.
He played his best football of course under Neil Warnock at QPR and can play as a striker or a winger and has the work rate that Neil Warnock loves!
Yes Jamie Mackie is now 31 years old,but Mackie and Warnock have high respect for each other.
I am expecting Mackie to be one of Warnocks first signings, if Mackie agrees of course to our low wage structure.
I believe talks have taken place, it will be now down to Jamie Mackie.
Jamie Mackie has played for Qpr,Reading,Nottingham Forest and Plymouth.

I'm with you carried to many oldies over the years.
I would prefer this boy Woodburn from Liverpool on season loan!

Can see what your saying but Mackie a good player at this level..hard working and can play in a few different positions and a real fans favourite...
On our budget for next season will be ideal not a prolific goal scorer but will chip in with 8/10 goals.
Ready made replacement for Pilks or Noone????

I can see your point as well however we need pace all over the squad which we have been lacking in buckets. I would prefer he sign 6-8 players who all have pace in abundance!
We can really feel like we might get promoted then with Mackie he will do a good job but is he better than what we have Hmmm not sure.
