How can a team that doesnt exist be a real team?

I,M IN Where are we going to play.If Cardiff City has let the name registration drop,as i have heard it has.Whats to stop anyone,ie,us using the name.Where and when is the next meeting.

How about calling the team Cardiff City FC. That name will soon be available.

IF the name is changed, then you can start with all of this.

Until then we have a real team who are giving their all for us fans. Lets show them the support.

Exactly! Because they will be a welsh team they will have to start playing teams like Maesteg then work they way up! But surely they could only get into the welsh premier and will not be allowed to enter the English football league system again. And what's saying they will get enough funds and good players to raise up the leagues? Also they would have to stadium share most probs and that will cost them a good bit!

Hit the nail on the head. There is not a hope in hell of getting into the English leagues again, and a very slim chance of even getting into the Welsh Prem.

300 plus members. Really? Or 300 people have put their names forward as potential member, until they have to part with hard cash, or hours of their time. I'm not knocking you if that's what you want to do then go do it. It can be rewarding running a football club but lots of hard work and commitment too. Good luck with your protest club, but it will never be Cardiff City A.F.C.

The irony of all this is that you have told fans to come and support a REAL team that doesn't exist. Chances are you have passed the deadline to register a new club for the new season now and that is without the complications of taken the Welsh league to court because the English leagues WILL NOT take a welsh club on without permission as that causes all sorts of issues.

Paid up members or facebook likes? If it's the latter (or similar to facebook) I'd say you can discount over 90% of them.
